Wetlands Stamp Set

What a beautiful Set of stamps these are to work with.
I have watercoloured with SU ink pads and water, onto SU watercolour card. Stamped the images, then applied clean water to the Goose and using kitchen towel, to dry, this has taken a lot of the colour back out. I then used Tim Holtz Distress marker, Picket Fence, to lighten the chest and Weathered wood to tint the back feathers.

Swallowtail butterfly.

I just love this stamp and combined with computer generated sentiment it is so simple to make a beautiful card. Now I have given up being a design team member at Kraftyhands Im hoping to make more of my stampin Up stash. So watch out for more to come with the new sets from the latest catalogue.

Best of 25 Years Stamp Sets

As part of our 25-year anniversary celebration, SU is bringing back some of our favourite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into five sets, which will release – one set per month – until October 2013. Along with some great classic images, each “Best of” set will also include a never-before-seen image, although many of the images may be new to us in the UK as we’ve only had SU here for five years.

 

All the “Best of” sets will be available in clear-mount only and will retail at £13.95. A new one will be released each month, but will remain available until 31^st March 2014.

Swallowtail butterfly.

This stamp is massive! I have stamped of the edge to make it more interesting. I also used my quickie glue pen one the wings and glittered with glamour dust. So pretty in real life.
I am really pleased with it and intent to make a batch of these in different colours.

Butterfly cards

At last a couple of cards from me.
I have been very disappointed with my sales of Stampin Up products, every time I find a new customer, I lose 2. I thought I might have to give it up but NO a couple of friends have given me amazing orders and Im able to carry on.
So to celebrate, I made some cards. LOL
I have used the new TWO FOR TEA papers on these two cards. Some pleated ribbon from last years catalogue and  the New Butterfly punch. I have layered the butterflies up with 1 layers, the under layer is plain coloured card.
